Frequently Asked Questions
-
Functional health looks beyond individual symptoms to explore the bigger picture of what may be contributing to how you feel. I take your health history, symptoms, lifestyle, previous testing, and individual goals into account to help uncover patterns that may have been overlooked and create a personalized plan.
-
I work with women who are looking for deeper answers about their health… including fertility challenges, hormone concerns, gut issues, inflammation, endometriosis, and other complex women’s health concerns. You do not need to be trying to conceive to work with me.
-
No. Many women come to me because they know something feels off even though their testing has been described as “normal,” or because they’ve been dealing with symptoms without getting the answers they’re looking for.
-
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to testing. I look at your symptoms, health history, goals, and previous labs to determine what additional testing, if any, may help us better understand what’s going on beneath the surface.
-
Yes. My work can complement the care you’re already receiving from your fertility clinic. I take a broader look at your health and help identify areas that may deserve additional attention while you continue working with your reproductive endocrinologist or fertility team.
-
Absolutely. I work with women at different stages of their fertility journey, whether you’re trying to conceive naturally, preparing for fertility treatment, going through IVF, or looking for additional support after previous treatment hasn’t gone as planned.
-
No. My services are designed to complement, not replace, medical care. I encourage clients to continue working with their physician, OB-GYN, reproductive endocrinologist, or other licensed healthcare providers for diagnosis and medical treatment.
-
Yes. Julie J Wellness is a virtual practice, so consultations and ongoing support are provided remotely.
